Cleveland Cavaliers Team Report - January 13 01.13.2004
|
(Basketball News) - The Cleveland Cavaliers try to stop a three-game losing streak this evening when they continue their six-game road trip against the Seattle SuperSonics at KeyArena.
Cleveland’s latest setback came on Monday with an 89-79 setback to the injury- riddled Los Angeles Lakers. Zydrunas Ilgauskas scored 19 points, but it was not enough as the Cavs dropped their seventh game in nine tries.
LeBron James finished with 16 points and seven assists, while Carlos Boozer added 12 points and 12 boards in the loss.
Cleveland has dropped five in a row on the road and is an NBA-worst 2-18 away from home this season. A win tonight, though, would match their road-win total from all of last season.
The Sonics have dominated the Cavaliers over the years and have won 15 of the last 16 matchups. Cleveland has also dropped 10 of its last 11 in Seattle.
