(Basketball News) - Carlos Boozer scored 23 points and pulled down 16 rebounds, as the Cleveland Cavaliers edged the Orlando Magic, 99-98, at Gund Arena.
LeBron James was back in the Cleveland lineup after missing three games with a sprained right ankle. He scored 16 points, but wasn’t in the game down the stretch after being kicked by a Magic player..
James said he wasn’t injured, but didn’t play the last 4:51.
Dajuan Wagner netted 21 points for the Cavaliers, who have won two in a row and four of their last five contests.
Prior to the game Boozer was named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week after he averaged 20.7 points, 15.3 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game last week.
Boozer will attend his grandmother’s funeral in Washington D.C. on Wednesday and is scheduled to get back to Cleveland about the time the Cavs tip-off with Miami.
The Cavs, who are one win shy of their entire win total from last season, have won five of their last seven games at home and are 12-9 in their gym this season.
