(Basketball News) - The Cleveland Cavaliers lost to the Memphis Grizzlies, 122-115, in double overtime Saturday at Gund Arena.
LeBron James netted a career-high 33 points, grabbed 16 rebounds and handed out seven assists for the Cavaliers, who dropped their sixth contest in a row.
The Cavaliers led 114-113 with 3:29 left in the second overtime on a three- pointer by James. But the Grizzlies responded with a 9-1 burst to end the game and emerge victorious.
Pau Gasol put Memphis up for good with a two-point field with three minutes remaining and Swift scored on the team’s next possession to give the Grizzlies a 117-114 edge.
Cleveland forward Carlos Boozer missed his sixth straight game with an ankle injury.
The Cavs are off until Tuesday when they visit Carmelo Anthony and the Denver Nuggets.
