Clippers activate Kittles

Los Angeles, CA (Basketball News) - The Los Angeles Clippers activated guard Kerry Kittles off the injured list Sunday and placed rookie guard Lionel Chalmers on the IL.

Kittles, who has been on the sideline since training camp with a sore right knee, will make his Clippers debut on Sunday when Phoenix visits the Staples Center. He was recovering from an arthroscopic procedure that he had performed prior to Los Angeles acquiring him in a trade with the New Jersey Nets in the offseason.

Kittles holds averages of 14.3 points and 2.6 assists per game during his eight year career.

Chalmers is suffering from left knee tendinitis. In four games this season he has averages of .5 points and 1.5 assists.
