Clippers’ Brand sidelined

Auburn Hills, MI (Basketball News) - Los Angeles Clippers forward Elton Brand sat out Monday’s game against the Detroit Pistons due to back spasms.

Brand hadn’t missed a game this year and came into Monday averaging 20.7 points and 9.2 rebounds, tops on the Clippers.

The third all-time leading scorer in franchise history, Brand moved into second place on the Clippers all-time career rebounding list this season. Brand now has 4,371 rebounds, trailing all-time franchise leader Loy Vaught (4,471).
