Clippers’ Brand undergoes simultaneous surgeries

Brand had arthroscopic surgery to repair a slight cartilage tear in his left knee and also had calcium deposits removed from his right ring finger.

Both of the operations were performed in Westwood, California and he is expected to make a full recovery and return to full strength in three to four weeks.

This past season, Brand averaged 20.0 points and 10.3 rebounds in 69 games. For his career, the Duke product has posted totals of 19.4 points, 10.7 boards and 2.7 assists per contest.
