Clippers ink Aaron Williams

Los Angeles, CA (Basketball News) - The Los Angeles Clippers announced that the team has signed free agent forward Aaron Williams on Tuesday. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Williams recorded 4.6 points, 3.8 rebounds and 16.5 minutes per contest in 48 games last season for the Toronto Raptors and New Orleans/Oklahoma City Hornets.

The 6-foot-9, 235-pound forward had his best season as a pro in 2001, when he netted a career-high 10.2 points, 7.2 rebounds and 28.5 minutes in 82 games for the New Jersey Nets.

In 12 NBA seasons, Williams has averaged 6.1 points, 4.1 rebounds and 17.5 minutes in 647 career games for the Utah Jazz, Milwaukee Bucks, Denver Nuggets, Vancouver Grizzlies, Seattle Sonics, Washington Wizards, Nets, Raptors and Hornets.
