Clippers’ Livingston placed on injured list 11.23.2004

Livingston is expected to miss eight weeks of action. An MRI revealed no other structural damage to the joint. Livingston will begin a rehabilitation program conducted by the Clippers’ team medical staff and will be re- evaluated regularly.
The fourth overall selection in the 2004 NBA Draft, Livingston has tallied 5.0 points, 2.6 assists, 2.1 rebounds and 21.2 minutes during the first 11 games of the season.
The 19-year-old was a star at Peoria Central High School in Illinois, averaging 18.0 points, 6.2 assists and 5.7 assists per game. Livingston was the first high school point guard to become an NBA lottery pick.
Named to the McDonald’s 2004 All-America Team, Livingston originally committed to play for Duke University before declaring for the 2004 draft.
Clippers guard Lionel Chalmers and center Chris Kaman are already on the injured list.
