Williams has played in 458 career games over eight seasons and is averaging 9.1 points and 4.1 assists per contest.
He spent the majority of his time in Toronto and is the club’s all-time assist leader with 1,791. He also holds a club record with 187 consecutive games streak.
Injury ended his tenure with the Raptors, as Williams missed the entire 2004-05 season because of microfracture surgery on his right knee. He only played in one game the following season and was released on July 25.
The Villanova product was drafted in the second round by Portland in the 1997 draft and was traded to Toronto midway through the 1997-98 season.
