David Stern: League Expansion not Planned

If Seattle finds an arena solution after the Sonics are approved for a move to Oklahoma City or comes to some settlement with Clay Bennett’s ownership group before the upcoming federal trial over the team’s KeyArena lease, one potential outcome would be for the NBA to grant a future expansion team to replace the departing franchise.
