(Basketball News) - The Denver Nuggets bounced back from a loss in Toronto to defeat the Chicago Bulls, 105-97, at the United Center on Monday.
Carmelo Anthony poured in a game-high 26 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead Denver to the win over Chicago.
Anthony, who was the third overall pick in the NBA Draft, was 9-of-21 from the field and ended 7-of-8 from the free throw line.
Jon Barry had 19 points, while Andre Miller added 15 for the Nuggets, who halted a two-game skid. Earl Boykins contributed 14 points and nine assists and Nene hauled in a game-high 13 rebounds in the win.
Denver center Marcus Camby left the contest in the second quarter with a strained left knee.
The Nuggets are off until Friday when they host Tracy McGrady and the Orlando Magic.
