(Basketball News) - The Golden State Warriors lost their fourth straight game on Wednesday in Houston, dropping an 85-83 decision to Yao Ming and the Rockets.
Clifford Robinson posted 23 points for the Warriors, who dropped all three games on their road trip. Golden State also fell to 0-4 as the visitor this season.
Erick Dampier contributed 15 points and 12 boards for Golden State, which played without guard Nick Van Exel, who sat out with a knee injury.
Yao scored 15 of his 23 points in the fourth quarter to spark Houston to victory. The Chinese center posted 10 straight points for the Rockets at one point in the final 12 minutes.
It was the ninth time in 11 meetings that the Warriors fell to Houston.
Golden State returns home for their next game, as they host the Miami Heat on Friday night in Oakland.
