Hawks ink Medvedenko

Atlanta, GA (Basketball News) - The Atlanta Hawks signed veteran free agent forward/center Slava Medvedenko on Thursday. Per team policy, financial terms were not disclosed.

Medvedenko spent the past six years with the Los Angeles Lakers and won championship rings in 2001 and 2002.

The Kiev, Ukraine native averaged 5.4 points and 2.9 rebounds in 249 career games with Los Angeles.
