Hawks sign Ekezie

 
Atlanta, GA (Basketball News) - The Atlanta Hawks have signed Obinna Ekezie for the remainder of the season after previously inking the center to a pair of 10-day contracts.

The 29-year-old Ekezie is averaging 1.8 points and 2.3 rebounds in 10 contests this season.

The 6-foot-9 former Maryland standout has played in 111 career games with Atlanta, Dallas, Washington, the Clippers and Vancouver Grizzlies. Ekezie was a second-round pick by the Grizzlies in the 1999 NBA draft.
