Hornets buzz into San Antonio 03.28.2007

The Spurs pounded the Golden State Warriors 126-89 on Monday, just one day removed from a 120-79 rout of Seattle, giving them a 78-point margin of victory over their last two games.
Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, and Michael Finley each scored 20 points against Golden State as the Spurs won their fourth straight game. Manu Ginobili had 17 points to help lead San Antonio to its eighth straight 50-win season.
Parker had nine assists, and Duncan had eight rebounds for the Spurs, who are 17-2 in their last 19 games.
Forward Robert Horry (abdominal strain/bruise) is questionable for tonight’s game.
The Spurs are 24-9 at home this season, having won nine of their last 10 at AT&T Center, and remain at home on Friday to host Utah. San Antonio third overall in the West.
San Antonio will aim for the four-game series sweep of the Hornets tonight and has won six straight over New Orleans overall. The Hornets have lost five in a row at San Antonio.
New Orleans has lost nine of its past 13 games, and fell to Dallas, 105-89, on Tuesday. Jannero Pargo had 23 points and seven rebounds for the Hornets, who fell 2 1/2 games back of the idle Clippers for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference.
Tyson Chandler added 13 points and eight boards for the Hornets. Star guard Chris Paul had just two points on 1-of-10 shooting.
New Orleans is 11-24 on the road this season and will host New York on Saturday.
New Orleans/Oklahoma City continues to play without forward Peja Stojakovic (lower back). Stojakovic, who is in his first season with the Hornets, is averaging 17.8 points per game and last played on November 24th. He could return to the lineup sometime this week.
