Jackson, a 10-year NBA veteran, missed 16 games after suffering what was believed to be a single cracked left rib in a late November contest. He returned to the lineup January 4, then missed the Hornets’ last two games against the Pacers and Clippers after experiencing pain in the affected area.
According to general manager Jeff Bower, Jackson’s status is day-to-day.
In 16 games this season, Jackson is averaging 10.6 points and 3.2 rebounds, and is shooting better than 42 percent from the floor.
