Giricek averaged 11.3 points in 73 games this past season with Utah and Orlando. He started 18 of 25 games and averaged 13.5 points for the Jazz after being acquired from the Magic for DeShawn Stevenson and a future second-round draft pick on February 19.
"Gordan has proven he can score in this league," Jazz senior vice president of basketball operations Kevin O’Connor said. "And at 26, we believe his best years are ahead of him."
In his two-year NBA career, Giricek has averaged 11.8 points and 3.1 rebounds over 149 games with Memphis, Orlando and Utah.
