Josh Howard Arrested for Street Racing

Following his recent admission of offseason marijuana use, you’d think Josh Howard would be doing his utmost to keep his nose clean right now. Evidently that’s not so, as police in his hometown of Winston-Salem took him in for driving ninety-four in a fifty-five last night as he participated in what was apparently a street race.

Howard was released from the Forsyth County jail on a written promise to appear in court on September 23 to face charges of speeding, reckless driving and "speed competition", a crime the five-oh may have invented solely for the purpose of pinning something else on an NBA player. While he’ll likely get away with a mere slap on the wrist from the judge, it’s unlikely Mark Cuban will be as forgiving. You can expect J-Ho to be traded before the new season rolls around, and it’s likely the Mavericks will give him up for less than market value.

These idiots never learn. They have money and fame, and they feel like they’re above everyone else. When will examples be made. Josh is not even worth the trouble, Mark Cuban will not continue to stand by and watch his $50 million dollar investment damage his reputation and hurt his career with the Mavericks. At least the head coach has experience with head cases and managed to win with them to a certain point. I love the Mavericks not Josh Howard, go ahead and put him on the market. Go get Tayshuan Prince, Dumars might be willing to do it .
