Kobe Bryant Wants to Stay with Los Angeles Lakers

He said he hasn’t thought about terminating his contract with the team and opting to become a free agent after next season.

"I’ve always wanted to be here," he said. "I just felt like I was in a position where I didn’t really have a choice if they wanted to go in an opposite direction. My legs aren’t as young as they used to be, so just let me know. But I love the weather. I love my ’63 drop-top Impala. I love the 405 (Freeway) and I love my guys."

Of opting out of his deal after the end of the 2008-09 season, he said, "No, I haven’t thought about it. I have thought about where we’re having training camp. I don’t know if we’re going to Japan or somewhere fun." [LA Daily News]

Kobe Bryant is the best player ever! I don’t care about Michael Jordan. Kobe will win 2 to 3 more titles if this team stays healthy. .
