LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, Chris Paul All Open to Signing Abroad

I’ve said all I have to say on this issue already, so I’ll leave it to the players to talk now. Here’s the latest round of quotes from NBA superstars concerning the possibility of signing abroad for more than their current franchises can offer.

I can’t just throw all my eggs in one basket. There’s going to be a lot of opportunities for me in 2010 to decide if I want to stay with Cleveland or if I want to go elsewhere. Could I ever imagine it? No. Is it a possibility? Yes. - LeBron James

[Olympiakos] haven’t offered me anything. I haven’t talked to any of them at all. So it’s kind of a rumor that was put out there.... With the right opportunity, you never know. - LeBron James

I love basketball. So I’ll play basketball anywhere. - LeBron James

If somebody throws $50 million on the table for me, we can talk.
- Carmelo Anthony

What would you do? Show me a person that’s not going [to sign for that much]... maybe Bill Gates. - Chris Paul

huuhhhhhh....... all these teams are doing these good trades except denver. they need it the most. All the good youngbloods are staying put so far ( melo bron dwight wade) but all the older guys are leaving. Nuggets could have had baron davis but no! except for the players, the nuggets commisioners and managers are f-----dumb! .

They better do somethin about this with the salary cap thing, or the league will go under in the next 10 years. Arguably 4 of the best 6 best players in the league have just said they might leave (Bryant, LBJ, CP3, Melo). Let’s hope the other 2 don’t feel that way. For the record, they are KG & D-Wade. .
