LeBron returns to practice

01.25.2004

Cleveland, OH (Basketball News) - Cleveland rookie LeBron James practiced for the first time Sunday since an ankle injury has caused him to miss three games.

Even more important, the team listed James as probable for Monday’s game against Orlando.

James sprained his right ankle during the fourth quarter January 17th’s 102-96 overtime win at Utah. James missed his first contest of the season on Tuesday against Seattle and Cleveland has gone 2-1 in his absence.

The 19-year-old participated in shootarounds earlier in the week, but was unable to make it through a full practice till Sunday.

James leads the Cavaliers in scoring with a 20.4 points-per-game average.
