LeBron to miss another game

01.22.2004

Cleveland, OH (Basketball News) - Cleveland rookie LeBron James is expected to miss his second straight game Thursday night against the Kings with a nagging ankle injury.

James is still unable to run on the right ankle he sprained during the fourth quarter of Saturday’s 102-96 overtime win at Utah. James missed the first game of his career on Tuesday against Seattle.

The 19-year-old participated in a shootaround Wednesday and, according to head coach Paul Silas, will not return until Saturday’s home game against Philadelphia at the earliest.

James leads the Cavaliers in scoring with 20.4 points per contest.
