(Basketball News) - The Los Angeles Clippers lost to the Detroit Pistons, 108-99, on Wednesday at The Palace of Auburn Hills.
Elton Brand paced the Clippers with 27 points and 10 rebounds. Keyon Dooling had a career-high 20 points and 10 assists for Los Angeles, which has dropped nine straight. LA also has lost five in a row on the road.
LA fell to a brutal 9-30 on the road.
The Clippers are off until Friday when they visit the Chicago Bulls. It will be the second and final meeting of the season between the two clubs. On January 27th, the Clippers beat the Bulls, 102-92, at the Staples Center.
Brand has scored at least 18 points in his last four games. He has averaged 21.5 points and seven rebounds in that span.
