Magic activate Garrity; Giricek on IL 11.7.2003

Garrity hasn’t played since last season, missing all of the Magic’s preseason games and the first five contests of this season after a pair of operations on his right knee over the summer.
The 27-year-old Garrity, who will be available Friday night against Minnesota, averaged 10.7 points and 3.8 rebounds per game last season for the Magic. In five NBA seasons with Orlando and Phoenix, the 6-foot-9 forward has shot better than 41 percent from three-point territory.
Giricek has been placed on the IL because of a strained right arch. He has played in two games with the Magic this season, averaging 5.5 points and 3.5 rebounds per contest.
The team also announced that rookie guard Keith Bogans has been activated and will be available for Friday’s game. He missed the first five games of the regular season with right knee patella tendinitis.
