Magic activate rookie guard Gaines

Orlando, FL (Basketball News) - The Orlando Magic activated rookie guard and first-round draft pick Reece Gaines from the injured list before Sunday’s game against Houston.

Gaines has missed the last 26 games with tendinitis in his right knee patella, and is averaging less than one point and only 8.6 minutes in 14 contests this season.

His production as a pro is far cry from the 15.6 points he averaged in four years at Louisville before being drafted by the Magic with the 15th overall pick in 2003.
