He’s not among the younger Grizzlies.

But Marko Jaric is definitely one of the toughest.

The veteran swingman participated in the team’s open practice and scrimmage Saturday with a broken nose.

Jaric will have the nose repaired Tuesday, and then he’ll miss five days. He suffered the injury Friday afternoon during the fourth day of training camp.

Jaric was hit across the face in a crowd in the paint during a scrimmage. He left practice about halfway through it and did not return.
