Memphis Grizzlies Team Report - December 2

(Basketball News) - Pau Gasol scored 19 points to lead the Memphis Grizzlies to a 96-89 win over the Boston Celtics on Monday at the FleetCenter.

Lorenzen Wright posted 14 points and 13 rebounds for the Grizzlies, who have won two straight games. Shane Battier and Stromile Swift each chipped in 12 for Memphis, which had six players in double figures.

James Posey added 11 points and Mike Miller contributed 10 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds in the win.

Memphis improved to 8-8, marking the latest point in a season in team history that the Grizzlies have had at least a .500 record.

The Grizzlies are off until Wednesday when they visit Kenyon Martin and the New Jersey Nets.
