Memphis Grizzlies Team Report - December 4

(Basketball News) - Pau Gasol and James Posey each scored 19 points to lead Memphis to a 96-93 win over New Jersey Wednesday at Continental Airlines Arena.

Lorenzen Wright added 14 points before fouling out for the Grizzlies, who won their third straight contest.

Shane Battier and Watson both finished with 12 points for Memphis, which snapped a three-game losing streak in New Jersey.

Earlier on Wednesday, Memphis acquired swingman Bonzi Wells from the Portland Trail Blazers in exchange for swingman Wesley Person, a conditional first- round pick in the 2004 NBA Draft and cash considerations.

The Grizzlies are off until Friday when they host the Washington Wizards in the first of a three-game homestand.
