(Basketball News) - Pau Gasol and the surprising Memphis Grizzlies stop off in Detroit to face Ben Wallace and the Pistons at The Palace of Auburn Hills.
Earlier this season, Detroit knocked off the Grizzlies, 99-92, on November 19, 2003 at The Pyramid. The Pistons have won five straight and eight of their last nine contests with the Grizzlies, who have lost four straight at Detroit.
The Grizzlies come into tonight’s game on a two game-losing streak. On Friday, Memphis fell to the Utah Jazz, 85-79, at The Pyramid.
James Posey delivered 24 points for the Grizzlies, who lost for just the second time in their last 10 contests. Bonzi Wells finished with 14 points in the loss, while Gasol netted 10.
Memphis, which has won three straight on the road, is 9-13 as the visitor this season.
