(Basketball News) - The New Orleans Hornets will try to rebound from a loss on Saturday when they welcome the Golden State Warriors to New Orleans Arena.
On Thursday, New Orleans fell to the Houston Rockets, 97-86, at the Toyota Center. Baron Davis led the Hornets with 30 points, but 12 of those came in the fourth quarter.
Darrell Armstrong finished with 11 points, while Jamaal Magloire and P.J. Brown each had 10 for New Orleans, which has dropped six in a row on the road.
Wirth the loss New Orleans dropped a half-game back of the Milwaukee Bucks for the fourth spot in the race for the Eastern Conference playoffs.
On the injury front, forward Maurice Taylor left Thursday’s loss in the third quarter with a sore left knee. However, he said he expects to play on Saturday.
The Hornets, who will play five of their next six in the Big Easy, are 21-12 at home this season.
New Orleans defeated the Warriors earlier in the season and has won eight of the last nine contests with the Warriors, who have lost six straight and seven of their last eight as the visitor in this series.
