(Basketball News) - The Miami Heat suffered their third straight loss on Saturday, as they found themselves on the wrong end of an 86-70 decision against the San Antonio Spurs.
Lamar Odom posted 17 points for the Heat, who have dropped seven of their last nine contests.
The Heat also scored a season-low 29 points in the first half. Their previous low output for a half was 32 points, in the second half at San Antonio on November 4.
Eddie Jones’ three-pointer with just over two minutes remaining brought Miami within 78-69, but the Spurs would not allow the game to get any closer as it scored eight of the final nine points of the game.
Miami fell to 1-9 vs. the Western Conference
The Heat will return to the court on Tuesday when they host the Phoenix Suns.
