Mike Miller Expects to Be Traded

Miller knows that it’s possible that he’ll be dealt by the NBA’s Feb. 21 trade deadline but he seems unaffected by the notion.

"If a deal comes they can’t refuse, I don’t expect them not to take it," Miller said. "We understand each other. I told them I’m going to play as hard as I can. I’m going to try to win games. And they’ve been completely honest with me."

Miller spoke recently with Griz brass — owner Michael Heisley, general manager Chris Wallace and head coach Marc Iavaroni. The message conveyed was that anything can happen.

But Wallace passionately dispelled a myth making its way around the league.

"I’ve never had more calls from people checking in and registering interest like they have since we made the trade for Pau," Wallace said. "They think we’re in a deal mode. Some teams have an erroneous assumption we’re just dropping money. [Click here for more from the Memphis Commercial Appeal.]

I wouldn’t mind the Warriors acquiring him (Mike Miller). He would fit in well, bringing some good shooting to the team and if we can get him cheaply, I’m all for it. My only concern is that worry is that we might go over the luxury tax next season as we have to extend Monta Ellis and Andris Biedrins who are two important young players for us. .

Bring him to houston we have the pieces to win a championship adding him would bring us an outstanding three point shooter and ball handler when tracy rests plus i think his style of play fits our offense... with him battier,alston and mcgrady threes will rain in h-town. .

bring him to philly his offensive would help a lot since yous gave korver away miller would be a conistent 3 shooter and hes one of the best and can put up the points...but on the flip side the last 3 gms for sixers all wins there D has been really good the way they have been applin pressure on there guards...we could give carney since we werent sure if we wanted him and hes a young talent what the griz our lookin for and they seem not to care if they get ripped off in a trade just look at the gasol deal all ppl that think this dum i dont care i believe he could help a lot .
