Magic sign free agent Turkoglu

Orlando, FL (Basketball News) - The Orlando Magic signed free agent swingman Hedo Turkoglu.

The 25-year-old Turkoglu played in 80 games last season for San Antonio, including 44 starts, and averaged 9.2 points and 4.5 rebounds per contest.

Turkoglu spent the first three years of his career with Sacramento after being selected by the Kings with the 16th overall pick in the 2000 NBA Draft.

In 301 career NBA contests, he has averaged 7.9 points and 3.7 boards per outing.
