=== San Antonio Spurs Team Report - December 18 ===

(Basketball News) - The San Antonio Spurs will go for their fourth consecutive victory tonight, when they take on the Golden State Warriors at the SBC Center.

San Antonio continued its recent success on Friday night with an 83-67 victory over the lowly New Orleans Hornets in the Big Easy. Tim Duncan led the way for the Spurs with 19 points and 12 rebounds in the victory. Duncan has tallied a double-double in all but four of San Antonio’s 24 games this season.

Beno Udrih added 12 points, while Manu Ginobli and Tony Parker chipped in 10 apiece for the Spurs. San Antonio shot 42.7 percent from the field, while holding listless New Orleans to 38.2 percent shooting.

The Spurs outrebounded New Orleans, 45-34, and outscored it at the foul line, 14-9. San Antonio survived hitting only 5-of-17 from three-point range in the contest.

The Spurs have had the same starting lineup in all 24 games, while the injury- riddled Hornets have used eight starting lineups in 22 games.

San Antonio has been terrific at home this season, winning 10 of its first 11 contests.

San Antonio won the first meeting between these teams on November 10, 91-71, at the SBC Center. The Spurs have won 14 straight home games against the Warriors.
