Spurs activate Duncan

Salt Lake City, UT (Basketball News) - The San Antonio Spurs activated All-Star forward Tim Duncan off the injured list prior to the Spurs’ 93-91 loss to Utah at the Delta Center on Wednesday.

The two-time MVP, who missed the last 12 games with a severely sprained right ankle, finished with 17 points and seven rebounds in 20 minutes of play.

Duncan suffered the injury against Detroit on March 20 and was placed on the IL the next day.

Also, the Spurs placed forward Linton Johnson III on the injured list with a left ankle injury. Johnson has appeared in two games for the Spurs this season after undergoing surgery in November to repair a stress fracture in his left ankle.
