Arenas injures knee

The guard did not start for the first time this season after being late to the team’s shootaround. When he finally took the floor, Arenas had been in the game less than two minutes when he collided with Charlotte swingman Gerald Wallace.

After being helped to his feet, Arenas immediately left for the locker room and the team said he would not return.

Arenas was averaging 28.8 points per game entering the contest.
