Atlanta Hawks Team Report - April 1

(Basketball News) - The Atlanta Hawks were defeated by the Miami Heat, 100-97, on Wednesday at Philips Arena.

Stephen Jackson netted a game-high 29 points and pulled down nine boards for the Hawks, who lost their second in a row after winning the previous two. Jason Terry and Chris Crawford scored 23 and 22 points, while Bob Sura recorded a double-double with 14 points and 14 boards.

Atlanta fell to 16-22 on the road.

The Hawks are off until Friday when they visit the Orlando Magic. It will be the fourth and final meeting of the season between the two clubs. The Hawks are 0-3 against the Magic.

Jackson has scored at least 20 points in four of his last five games. He has averaged 28 points, 8.3 rebounds and 3.7 steals in his last three contests.
