(Basketball News) - The Atlanta Hawks were defeated by the Seattle SuperSonics, 118-110, on Tuesday Philips Arena. The Hawks have lost two straight games.
Stephen Jackson paced all scorers with 39 points, as the Hawks lost for the 11th time in their last 14 games. Bob Sura recorded a double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds, while Jason Terry netted 18 points. Chris Crawford added 11 points in the losing effort.
Jackson 7-of-14 from three-point range for the Hawks, who are 1-25 this season when they allow an opponent to score at least 100 points.
Atlanta plays at Dallas tonight. It will be the second and final meeting of the season between the two teams. The Hawks beat the Mavericks, 102-96, on February 9th at Philips Arena.
Sura has averaged 17.3 points, nine rebounds and 5.7 assists in his last three games.
