(Basketball News) - Jason Terry scored 26 points and Stephen Jackson added 25 to lead Atlanta to a 97-88 win over Chicago at Philips Arena.
Terry ended with seven rebounds and six assists while Jackson had a game-high 10 rebounds for the Hawks, who have won two straight games.
Bob Sura netted 15 points and Chris Crawford contributed 11 for Atlanta, which staved off its first 50-loss season since 2000-01 for now. Only the Bulls (53) and the Orlando Magic (55) have more losses than the Hawks, who are 6-14 since the All-Star break.
Atlanta, which will continue its four game homestand on Monday against Memphis, has won three of its last six at home, is 4-4 in its last eight in Dixie and is 16-20 in its gym this season.
The Hawks lost to the Grizz earlier in the year and has lost two of the last three meetings. The Hawks, though, have won four of six and five of the last eight and have never lost to the Grizzlies in eight all-time matchups in Atlanta.
Atlanta is 2-6 in Monday games this season.
