Atlanta sends Rasheed to Detroit in three-team deal 02.19.2004

Atlanta, GA (Basketball News) - The Atlanta Hawks have reportedly traded forward Rasheed Wallace to the Detroit Pistons as part of a three-team deal that also involves the Boston Celtics.
According to various reports, the teams involved are waiting for league approval.
In addition to Wallace, Detroit also received guard Mike James from the Celtics. Meanwhile, Atlanta acquired forward Chris Mills from Boston, center Zeljko Rebraca and guard Bob Sura, both of whom were with Detroit, and the Pistons’ first-round pick, which was obtained from Milwaukee.
The Celtics get guards Chucky Atkins and Lindsey Hunter, both of whom were with the Pistons, as well as Detroit’s 2004 first-round selection.
