Logan, UT (Basketball News) - Nate Harris scored 26 points to lead the Utah State Aggies to a 71-57 victory over the BYU Cougars in a non-league tilt.
Spencer Nelson finished with 14 points, 11 rebounds and five assists in the win for Utah State (4-1). Jaycee Carroll pitched in 13 points and 11 boards, and David Pak rounded out the double-digit scorers with 10 points.
Mike Hall led the way in defeat with 19 points for BYU (1-4), and Austin Ainge added 15 points for the Cougars.
Both teams shot the ball exceptionally well in the first half, and the score was deadlocked at 36-36 at intermission.
Over the final 20 minutes, Utah State outscored BYU 15-3 from the foul line en route to the 14-point victory.
The Aggies committed only nine turnovers in the contest, a major contributing factor in the win.
