Reno, NV (Basketball News) - Nick Fazekas scored 17 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead the Nevada Wolf Pack to an 84-66 victory over the Boise State Broncos in a Western Athletic Conference tilt.
Kevinn Pinkney added 16 points for Nevada (12-4, 5-1 WAC), while Ramon Sessions contributed 11 points and 10 assists in the victory.
Coby Karl poured in a game-high 21 points for Boise State (7-9, 1-4), while Jermaine Blackburn tallied 10 points and Tezarray Banks chipped in seven points to go along with 12 rebounds in the losing effort.
The Wolf Pack used an 11-5 run early in the opening frame to take a commanding 43-24 lead into the break.
Nevada netted 50.0 percent of its shots from the floor in the second stanza, en route to the 18-point victory.
The Wolf Pack won the battle of the boards, 44-29 and also outscored the Broncos in the paint, 40-28.
