NCAA Game Summary - UC-Irvine at Idaho

Moscow, ID (Basketball News) - Greg Ethington scored 16 points to lead the UC- Irvine Anteaters to a 67-62 overtime victory over the Idaho Vandals in a Big West Conference tilt.

Jeff Gloger added 13 points and collected seven rebounds for Irvine (13-11, 6-9 BWC), while Nic Campbell tallied 11 points. Ross Schraeder contributed 10 points to go with his seven boards in the winning cause.

Tanoris Shepard poured in a game-high 28 points for Idaho (8-19, 6-10), while Dandrick Jones chipped in 11 points and pulled down six boards in the loss.

The Anteaters held Idaho to a dismal 28.0 percent shooting effort from the floor in the opening frame to take a 22-18 lead into the break.

Shepard netted two free throws for the Vandals with 23 seconds remaining in the second stanza to even the score at 54-54, sending the contest into an extra session.

The Anteaters went on a 7-0 run late in the overtime en route to the five- point victory.

Irvine netted 16-of-22 shots from the foul line in the contest, while Idaho connected on just 8-of-13 shots from the charity stripe.
