NCAA Game Summary - Vanderbilt at Ole Miss

Oxford, MS (Basketball News) - Matt Freije netted 20 points in leading the Vanderbilt Commodores to a 77-65 victory over the Ole Miss Rebels in SEC action from Tad Smith Coliseum.

Mario Moore turned in 17 points, seven rebounds and five assists for the Commodores (18-6, 7-6 SEC), who won their third straight game. David Przybyszewski tallied 16 points, while Russell Lakey added 10 points and eight rebounds in the winning effort.

Aaron Harper paced Ole Miss (12-12, 4-9) in defeat with a double-double that consisted of 29 points and 10 rebounds. Justin Reed turned in 21 points and six rebounds, as the Rebels dropped their third straight game.

Vanderbilt shot 52.0 percent from the field in the first half, taking a 36-24 lead into the break.

In the second stanza, the Commodores converted 20-of-22 free-throw attempts, as they cruised to the 12-point victory.

Vanderbilt shot 48.9 percent from the floor in the contest, while the Rebels made just 40.7 percent of their total shots.
