NBA Game Summary - Indiana at Milwaukee

Milwaukee, WI (Basketball News) - Michael Redd scored 39 points as Milwaukee beat Indiana, 96-89, at the Bradley Center, and set an NBA record for fewest turnovers committed with only two.

Redd shot five-of-nine from beyond the arc, while Indiana shot 5-of-19.

Andrew Bogut scored 15 points for the Bucks, who have won three of four. Maurice Williams scored 12 points, and Charlie Bell added 10.

Jermaine O’Neal scored 27 points for the Pacers, who lost their fourth straight. Jamaal Tinsley scored 15 points, and Fred Jones had 14. Jeff Foster added 11 rebounds.

Milwaukee is No. 6 in the Eastern Conference playoff race, and is 1/2 game behind Washington, which lost on Saturday. The Pacers remain the seventh seed.

Milwaukee jumped out to a 15-5 lead after a Bogut layup with 6:36 left in the first, but Indiana responded with a 16-4 run to end the period sparked by a Jones jumper with 6:17 left. The Pacers led 21-19 heading into the second quarter, in which Indiana outscored Milwaukee by six points to lead 47-41 at halftime.

Milwaukee took off on a 10-2 spurt capped by six straight points by Redd to tie the game at 51 with 9:36 left in the third period. The Bucks held a slight 74-72 lead heading into the fourth.

The Bucks opened the final stanza with a 9-0 run ignited by a Redd jumper 15 seconds into the period to take an 83-72 lead, their largest of the game, with 7:22 remaining.

The Pacers, who played the first of a brief two-game road trip, are just 13-23 as the visitor this season. They will visit the Chicago Bulls on Tuesday at the United Center.

The Bucks, who are 5-3 in their last eight games overall, have won six straight at home and own a 23-14 mark at the Bradley Center in 2005-06.

This was the fourth and final meeting of the season between the squads. The Pacers won both contests at Conseco Fieldhouse, while the Bucks defeated Indiana in both games at the Bradley Center...Indiana has lost six of its last seven at Milwaukee.
