NBA Game Summary - Milwaukee at Indiana

Indianapolis, IN (Basketball News) - Stephen Jackson scored a game-high 24 points and added six assists, as Indiana rolled to a 112-88 victory over Milwaukee at Conseco Fieldhouse.

Fred Jones and Sarunas Jasikevicius each netted 17 points for the Pacers, who have won three of their last four games. Jermaine O’Neal added 16 in the win, as Indiana shot 56 percent from the floor.

Dan Gadzuric had 17 points and T.J. Ford contributed 16 for the Bucks, who have dropped four of their past five games. Michael Redd scored 13 points in the loss.

The Pacers led 31-25 after one quarter and opened the game up in the second. Jones’ basket just over two minutes into the frame capped an early 7-0 run and increased the gap to 13 points.

Leading by 11 later in the stanza, Indiana continued to widen the margin and Jackson’s basket with 2 1/2 minutes left in the quarter gave the Pacers a commanding 56-39 lead.

Indiana eventually held a 61-49 edge at the intermission.

Jackson and Jones each had 15 points for the Pacers, who made a blistering 24- of-35 shots in the first half (69 percent). Ford netted nine points for Milwaukee, which connected on 48 percent of its attempts (19-of-40) in the opening 24 minutes.

In the early moments of the third quarter, Jackson’s free throw extended the cushion to 17 points and Indiana maintained a hefty edge throughout the period. The Pacers enjoyed an 81-66 lead after three quarters.

The Bucks never got going into the fourth quarter and were outscored 31-22 over the final 12 minutes en route to suffering the 24-point loss.

Indiana was 9-of-18 from three-point range and hit on 23-of-33 foul shots...Milwaukee made 43 percent of its shots. The Bucks also made just 3- of-14 from behind the arc and hit 19-of-25 from the charity stripe...Milwaukee has lost six of its last eight in Conseco Fieldhouse...The Pacers are 11-4 at home this season.
