Chicago, IL (Basketball News) - Kevin Garnett scored 16 points and hauled down 10 rebounds to lead the Minnesota Timberwolves over the Chicago Bulls, 97-89, in preseason action at the United Center.
Eddie Griffin added 15 points and nine rebounds off the bench and Richie Frahm chipped in 12 points for the Timberwolves.
Wally Szczerbiak sat out the game with a sprained right foot.
Chicago’s Kirk Hinrich led all scorers with 19 points and Ben Gordon added 10 points for the Bulls, who shot 43 percent from the floor.
