St. Petersburg, FL (Basketball News) - Dwight Howard scored 19 points and grabbed nine rebounds as Orlando defeated New Orleans 101-83 at the St. Pete Times Forum.

Orlando guards Jameer Nelson and Keyon Dooling each chipped in 14 points apiece in the victory. In limited action, Steve Francis scored 8 points for Orlando.

New Orleans/Oklahoma City center Jamaal Magloire led the Hornets with 13 points and seven rebounds. Jackson Vroman added 12 points in the losing effort.
