Denver, CO (Basketball News) - Tony Parker scored 11 of his 29 points in overtime, and the San Antonio Spurs escaped with a 126-115 victory over Denver in Game 4 of their first round playoff series.
The Spurs have won three straight in this seven-game set since losing Game 1 at home. They can clinch a berth in the Western Conference semifinals with a Game 5 win on Wednesday in San Antonio.
Parker scored seven of his 11 overtime points after Tim Duncan fouled out of the game on a questionable call. Duncan ended with 39 points and 14 rebounds, shooting 13-of-23 from the field and 13-of-14 on free throws after going just 5-of-19 for 11 points in Game 3.
Manu Ginobili, who carried the offensive weight for a struggling Duncan in Game 3, added 24 points off the bench in the win.
Earl Boykins scored a career playoff-high 32 points to lead the Nuggets, who overcame a 12-point deficit in the second half to force overtime. Carmelo Anthony added 28 points in the loss.
Denver made just three of its eight shots in overtime.
