Charlotte, NC (Basketball News) - Chris Bosh scored 27 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead the Toronto Raptors to a 119-107 win over the Charlotte Bobcats in a high-scoring affair at Charlotte Coliseum.

Jalen Rose netted 23 points while Donyell Marshall and Rafer Alston both chipped in 18 for the Raptors, who put an end to a two-game losing streak. Marshall also hauled in 12 boards.

Emeka Okafor poured in 29 points and grabbed 14 rebounds and Matt Carroll added 17 points for the Bobcats, who have dropped three straight contests.

Toronto jumped out to a 19-10 lead on Rose’s basket midway through the first period and increased the gap to 15 points at 29-14 in the waning minutes of the quarter. The Raptors eventually held a 31-18 cushion after one.

Charlotte slowly chipped away at the deficit over the next two quarters as it trailed 61-52 at the intermission and 88-80 after 36 minutes.

The Bobcats then closed within 90-85 in the early stages of the fourth quarter, but Toronto would not let the margin get any closer. The Raptors then used a 17-8 surge to claim a 14-point lead and put the game out of reach.

Milt Palacio finished with 16 points in the win...Okafor was one point shy of his career-high set on March 12 against the LA Lakers...Brevin Knight had 14 points and 10 assists in the loss...Both teams shot 51 percent from the floor as Toronto was 42-of-83 while the Bobcats made 37-of-72 attempts...Charlotte has lost seven of its last nine home games, while the Raptors won for only the fifth time in their past 13 road tilts...Toronto leads the season-series 2-1.
